The perfect blend of coarse and fine sand ensures excellent soil loosening and aeration. This results in better water retention, making your lawn more resilient during dry periods. It also prevents waterlogging.
The soil is optimally supplied with nutrients thanks to the 100% natural diabase sand, MADE IN GERMANY. Minerals and trace elements such as iron, silica, calcium, boron, zinc, and magnesium contribute to greater resilience and a richer green color.
We recommend applying the sand twice a year. In spring, the nutrient reserves are replenished after winter.
In autumn, an application ensures sufficient strength for the winter.
Make fertilization unnecessary. Diabase sand improves the soil's pH value and promotes the formation of clay-humus complexes.
It also ensures that the lawn becomes stronger and denser.
This helps suppress weeds and moss.
Application:
Mow the lawn and, if necessary, scarify it. If needed, holes can also be made in the soil with an aerator or spiked shoes. We recommend an application rate of 250 g per square meter of lawn (25 kg is sufficient for 100 square meters).
Applying is possible by hand or with a spreader.
To prevent the sand from blowing away and to allow it to penetrate the soil effectively, the lawn should be lightly watered after application.
The lawn can be walked on immediately after application and watering. To improve the absorption of the powder into the soil, we recommend not walking on the lawn for a day.
Storage:
Store in a dry place. For longer storage, transfer to a sturdy container with a lid.
If stored dry, RasenHerz can be used indefinitely.
